Oncocytic tumour
- Oncocytic epithelial cells are more often seen in papillary fragments, acini and singly in comparison to Warthin's, where sheets of oncocytic cells are observed.
- A degree of epithelial atypia can be seen in oncocyte predominant benign lesions.
- Oncocytoma can show a pseudomalignant change that mimics acinic cell carcinoma.
